Setup was quick. Since then I have especially liked the silent desk friendly operation and the large 1.9 inch color display.

After about a week, I am still happy with Bitaxe 801. I appreciate the middle ground between a Gamma and a four chip miner, and the roughly 2.15 TH/s hashrate also fits my setup well.

I have been using Bitaxe Gamma Performance for a few days in the home office. In daily use I especially appreciate the much larger performance cooler and having AxeOS directly in the browser. I prefer a stable fan curve over maximum clocks.

Two things mattered most to me with Bitaxe Gamma: being able to tune frequency and voltage myself and the roughly 1.3 TH/s hashrate. After a few days, that choice still feels right. The power cable arrangement could be a little tidier.

I wanted to improve my existing miner without buying a new unit. For that, I appreciate how quiet the setup is and the extra room for overclocking.

After two weeks with the upgrade, I am still happy with it. I especially appreciate the Noctua fan and the lower and steadier temperatures. I installed it mainly because the miner sits close to where I work.

For solo mining I wanted something I could leave running at home. I appreciate the low power draw around 17 W and how little space it takes on Bitaxe Gamma. I like that there is no cloud account involved.
