Bitaxe Setup Guide
1. Unbox and Power Up
- Carefully remove your Bitaxe miner from the packaging.
- Plug the power supply into a reliable power source.
- The device will power on automatically.
2. Connect to Bitaxe's Wi-Fi Network
- Your Bitaxe will start emitting a new Wi-Fi network with a name something similar to 'Bitaxe_2215'. The correct network name will be displayed on the Bitaxe screen.

- Use your phone or laptop to access the available WiFi networks.
- Locate and select the Bitaxe WiFi network name shown on the Bitaxe display.
- Once connected to the Bitaxe WiFi the settings page will open automatically. If not, open a browser and go to 192.168.4.1

3. Network Configuration
- Set a hostname for your Bitaxe or lkeep the default.
- Set WIFI SSID to the exact name of your home WIFI.
- Enter the password of your home WIFI.
- Click "Save" and restart your Bitaxe.
The Bitaxe will connect to your Wi-Fi network. After a few seconds, it will start the mining process automatically.

4. Accessing the User Interface (AxeOS)
- After reboot, Bitaxe connects to your Wi-Fi network
- Find the device’s IP address on your Bitaxe screen
- Open your browser and enter the IP address
- No password is required to access the web interface

5. Pool and Wallet Configuration
You should configure general settings, such as the mining pool and your Bitcoin address, according to your preferences. We recommend keeping the public-pool.io setting unless you're running your own pool with a LiquidBox V4.
In the dashboard, go to Pool Settings
Stratum User:
- Delete the default Bitcoin address
- Enter your own BTC address (from any hardware or software wallet)
Optional Worker Grouping:
- Add a label after your BTC address, separated by a dot (e.g. btcaddress.bitaxe)
- Helps organize multiple devices under one wallet
- Rewards still go to the same BTC address

5. Save and Restart
- Click the "Save" button after entering your information.
- Then, select "Restart" from the menu to apply the changes.

6. Begin Mining
- The Bitaxe will connect to your Wi-Fi network.
- After a few seconds, it will start the mining process with the new settings automatically.

Additional Tips
✅ Bitcoin Wallet: If you don't have a Bitcoin wallet, set one up before configuring your Bitaxe. Consider using a hardware wallet for enhanced security.
✅ Monitor Your Mining: To check if your Bitaxe is connected to the mining pool, visit public-pool.io and enter your Bitcoin address.
✅ Display Options: Use the bottom button on the Bitaxe to cycle through different display information.
