NerdQaxe Setup Guide
Get mining in under 5 minutes
1. Power your NerdQaxe
- Plug the device into a reliable power source using the provided cables
💡 The screen will display:
CONFIG WIFI PORTAL SSID: Nerdaxe_XXXX
2. Connect to NerdQaxe Wi-Fi
- Open your phone/laptop’s Wi-Fi settings
- Find and join the network: Nerdaxe_XXXX.
3. Open the Setup Dashboard
- After connecting, you will be directed to the main page of the user interface (dashboard).
4. Enter Your Settings
In the dashboard:
- Navigate to the Settings tab in the dashboard interface.
- Enter a custom hostname for your device — or simply leave the default if you're not sure.
- Input Wi-Fi Details
- Wi-Fi SSID: Type in the exact name of your home or office Wi-Fi network
- Wi-Fi Password: Enter the password for that network
💡 Double-check for typos - your NerdQaxe won’t connect if these aren’t 100% correct!
- Unless you have a preferred mining pool, we recommend sticking with the default settings for easiest setup.
- In the Stratum User field, enter the Bitcoin address where you want mining rewards sent.
We recommend a SegWit address that begins with: bc1q... - Optionally, you can append a worker name after the address: bc1qyouraddress.workername (e.g., NerdQaxe).
5. Save and Restart
- Once you’ve filled in all the details, hit the “Save” button to store your configuration.
Tap “Restart” to refresh the system and apply your new settings.
6. Start Mining
- NerdQaxe will now link to your selected Wi-Fi network.
- Within moments, the device will automatically begin the mining process.
Additional Tips for Successful Mining
✅ Set up your Bitcoin wallet:
No wallet yet? Create one before you configure your NerdQaxe. For enhanced safety, we recommend using a hardware wallet..
✅ Track Your Mining Activity: To see if your NerdQaxe is actively mining, head over to public pool and paste in your Bitcoin address to check the stats..
✅ Navigate the Display:
Tap the bottom button on your NerdQaxe to scroll through different info screens and mining stats.
