Who is behind SeedSigner
SeedSigner is a community project. Hardware and software are open, and the idea is do-it-yourself: you can understand every part of the device you trust with your keys.
How it works
Your wallet software prepares a transaction and shows it as a QR code. The SeedSigner reads it, signs it and returns the signed transaction as a QR code. At no point is the device connected to the internet, and the private keys never leave it.
Complete the setup
A signing device protects your keys while you use them; a backup protects them for the long run. The Steel Seed Set keeps your recovery phrase in steel. Both are in Key Management.
