More than twice the hashrate of a Gamma, on the same desk.

NerdAxe Gaia

The NerdAxe Gaia puts the BM1373, the newest generation of mining chip, on the proven NerdAxe board. A single chip delivers around 2.6 TH/s at about 25 W. That works out to roughly 10 J/TH, which makes the Gaia the most efficient miner in our range.

Why the chip matters

Hashrate is what gives a solo miner its chance at a block, and efficiency decides what that chance costs you in electricity. The BM1373 improves both at once. Compared with a NerdAxe Gamma, the Gaia more than doubles the hashrate while drawing only a few watts more.

Made for a desk

  • A 40 mm PWM fan keeps the chip cool and adjusts its speed to the temperature.
  • The 1.9-inch colour display shows hashrate, chip temperature, power draw and your best share at a glance.
  • The included stand holds the board upright, so the display faces you and the air flows freely.

Set up in minutes

The Gaia runs AxeOS, the open source firmware of the Bitaxe and NerdAxe family. Connect the power supply, join the Wi-Fi network the miner opens, enter your home Wi-Fi and your Bitcoin address, and it starts hashing. After that you control everything from a browser in your home network. Our NerdAxe setup guide walks you through every step.

Solo or pool, your choice

Point the Gaia at a solo pool and every hash is a ticket for the full block reward, paid to your own address. Or join a regular pool for small, steady payouts. You can switch at any time in AxeOS.

Frequently asked questions

How does the NerdAxe Gaia differ from the NerdAxe Gamma?
The Gaia uses the newer BM1373 chip instead of the BM1370. It delivers around 2.6 TH/s instead of 1.2 TH/s and needs about 25 W instead of 17 W, so it is both faster and more efficient. Board layout, display and firmware are familiar from the Gamma.
Is the power supply included?
Yes. The Gaia ships with a 12 V / 6 A power supply, a stand and a quick start guide.
Can I mine solo with the Gaia?
Yes. Enter a solo pool and your own Bitcoin address in AxeOS. If your Gaia finds a block, the full reward goes to that address. You can switch to a regular pool at any time.
