NerdAxe Gamma: 1.2 TH/s Bitcoin Miner with Colour Display

The NerdAxe Gamma is a single BM1370 miner with 1.2 TH/s at 17 W, a 1.9-inch colour display and AxeOS. Designed by Bitmaker and Bitronics for home solo mining, it is small enough for a desk, set up from a browser, and open source from the board to the firmware.

The colour display

Where a Bitaxe shows its numbers on a small OLED, the NerdAxe Gamma has a 1.9-inch colour display that cycles through hashrate, shares, chip temperature and the Bitcoin price, readable from across the desk.

Fan, stand or case

The NerdAxe Gamma comes in three versions: with the standard fan on the stand, with a Noctua fan on the stand, or with the standard fan in the NerdAxe Case. The Noctua runs under 12 dB, the case wraps the board in carbon PLA. Hashrate and power are the same in all three.

Set up over Wi-Fi

The ESP32-S3 on the board brings its own Wi-Fi. Power the miner on, join the network it opens, enter your home Wi-Fi, your pool and your Bitcoin address, and it starts hashing. Our NerdAxe setup guide covers every screen.

AxeOS

The NerdAxe Gamma runs AxeOS, the open-source firmware it shares with the Bitaxe family. The web interface on your home network handles pool settings, frequency, fan speed and updates, with no extra software on your computer.
