Bitaxe Gamma Performance: 1.5 TH/s Overclocking Miner

The Bitaxe Gamma Performance is a Bitaxe Gamma on a performance cooling base: the same BM1370 chip, with an ICE Tower cooler and a Noctua fan in place of the standard heatsink. That headroom lets it run at up to 1.5 TH/s at 20 W, about 15 J/TH, and it is the board to start from if you want to overclock.

Built for overclocking

Overclocking a BM1370 is a cooling problem before it is anything else. The ICE Tower cooler moves the heat away fast enough for higher clocks and voltages, and the Noctua fan does it quietly. Where a stock Gamma runs out of thermal room, the Performance still has some left.

AxeOS

The Performance runs AxeOS like every Bitaxe. The web dashboard shows hashrate, temperature and shares, and it is also where you raise frequency and core voltage one step at a time and watch what the cooler makes of it. Any stratum pool works. More on the firmware at bitaxe.org.
