Bitaxe Performance Stage 2: 2 TH/s Overclocking Miner

The Bitaxe Performance Stage 2 is the Bitaxe Gamma with the Stage 2 cooling package: a Low-Profile Plus cooler with copper heat pipes, a 60 mm Noctua fan on the chip and a second 40 mm Noctua fan behind the board. With that cooling the BM1370 runs at up to 2 TH/s at around 30 W, about 15 J/TH, the highest hashrate we ship on a single-chip Bitaxe.

What Stage 2 changes

Stage 2 is the Gamma board with everything around the chip rebuilt for heat. The parts:

• Low-Profile Plus cooler with copper heat pipes on the BM1370
• 60 mm Noctua fan on the cooler
• Second 40 mm Noctua fan behind the board, cooling the back side and the voltage regulator
• Precision thermal paste and aluminium heatsinks on key components
• 3D-printed carbon Performance Case with the airflow routed around all of it

Overclocking comes with risk

This board is set up for overclocking, and overclocking carries risk: higher clocks and voltages put more stress on the chip than the stock settings do. Please make sure you understand that before ordering.

Set up over Wi-Fi

Setup is the same as on any Bitaxe: join the Wi-Fi network the miner opens, enter your own network, pool and Bitcoin address, and the rest happens in the AxeOS dashboard.
