A case that protects the board without suffocating it.
The problem with cases
Most enclosures are designed for a device that produces little heat. A four chip miner produces a lot, and the moment you put solid walls around it the fan is moving warm air in a circle. Chip temperature rises, the firmware reduces the clock, and the case has quietly cost you hashrate.
What this one does instead
- Honeycomb panels give the board a physical barrier while staying mostly open.
- The heatsink side is left free, so the intake and exhaust work as designed.
- Edges, the underside and the area around the connectors are covered, which is where accidental contact usually happens.
Everything stays reachable
The display remains visible and the power and USB-C connectors remain accessible with the case fitted. You do not have to take it apart to read a temperature or change a cable.
Material
Printed in PETG. It keeps its shape at the temperatures around a working miner, where PLA can start to sag over a long summer.

Frequently asked questions
Does the case cost me hashrate?
Not measurably. The panels are honeycomb and the heatsink side stays open, so the airflow the board was designed around is intact. A closed case would be a different story.
Which boards does it fit?
The NerdQAxe family. Bitaxe and NerdAxe boards have their own cases with different dimensions.
Can I use it together with the stand?
Yes. The case gives the board its protection, the stand holds the whole thing upright. Many owners run both.
